Dr Roy Soiza

Senior Lecturer in Geriatric Medicine, University of Aberdeen

Roy studied medicine at Edinburgh University from 1995-2000, before training in general and geriatric medicine. He is a Consultant Geriatrician in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Senior Lecturer at the University of Aberdeen. His main research interest is in vascular ageing/disease (particularly non-invasive assessment of arterial function), but he also researches hyponatraemia, cognitive ageing and the clinical pharmacology of old age.

Roy is the Principal Investigator for the BiCARB Study in Aberdeen and will be leading on the vascular substudy within the trial.
