I was appointed as a consultant nephrologist at the Sussex Kidney Unit in 2011. Prior to that I trained in the West Midlands, where I developed a research interest in inflammation and the mechanisms underlying development and progression of chronic kidney disease. I am currently actively involved in local investigator-led research, as well as in a number of multicentre studies.
